FLY FISHERMAN - RISING TIDES COLUMN

I’ve had the pleasure of profiling some of the most riveting sportsmen and sportswomen from around the globe for Fly Fisherman, the largest fly angling publication in North America. These “Rising Tides” profile assignments carried me to the Bahamas, Oregon, Idaho, the Seychelles and Montana. My subjects and I discussed road trips and love stories, running around the Florida Keys in the wild ‘70s and exploring the Indian Ocean in rickety schooners, climate change and the American sugar cartel. SPORTING TRAVEL

From trying to land an Atlantic salmon in rivers fished by kings, to hanging out with sporting artists on a Bahamian isle, to chasing tarpon in Cuba’s time-capsule marine wilderness, these assignments have carried me to some of the most divine corners of our planet’s Great Outdoors.
